Rains

Mumbai and the other parts of the country are submerged. Even regions close to Rajasthan desert are under water. Rains have been pouring this rainy season. Its more than dogs and cats, should I say elephants and rhinos?

People are stranded, they start really early so as not to miss their schedules. Some people prefer to stay in office if they have an important day tomorrow. The flights have been rescheduled. Even pigeonsin my balconyare not spared. They are getting wet and feeling the insecurity.

One of my great friends is planning a trip to Mumbai. Dont know if this is the right time. Rains are falling like hell and to add to the injury roads have got worse from bad. You need to find small road patches in the potholes. Guess that will make you good at dodging and karting!!!

Many villages are under the water and the toll is rising. Its a high time that the authority take some action to shift people to safe places. Visuals in NEWS channel are alarming. Buses, cars and pedestriants are washed away in some parts of the country. Dams are overflowing. People are facing the wrath of nature not because of rains but because of bad governance.

Hope this does not end in last years grave event when Mumbai was flooded with water and sad news.
